Civil Engineering Manager – Land Development
To lead, grow and strengthen a high-performing Land Development team that delivers practical, efficient and commercially successful civil engineering outcomes.
Due to continued growth at Peritas, we are seeking a Civil Engineering Manager to lead and grow our Land Development capability. From critical infrastructure and land subdivisions to industrial and commercial developments, we engineer practical, commercially sound and long-lasting outcomes for our clients. Our approach combines technical excellence with a strong understanding of constructability, cost, approvals, delivery risk and long-term asset performance. We work with our clients from early feasibility and planning through to detailed design, approvals, construction support and close out to achieve outcomes that are practical, efficient and value driven.
This role will be a key part of the Civil Leadership Team and will be responsible for strengthening our land development offering, growing client relationships, developing team capability and delivering high-quality civil engineering outcomes across subdivision, industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a leading role in building a high-performing land development team, expanding our market presence, improving delivery systems and supporting the broader business strategy.
The role will focus on:
Growing the Land Development team and market presence.
Building strong client and industry relationships.
Leading major land development and civil infrastructure projects.
Developing people, systems and delivery capability.
Supporting the broader civil business through leadership, collaboration and technical direction.
Leading the delivery of land development projects.
Managing key client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
Supporting business development, proposals and fee submissions.
Providing land development technical guidance across roads, drainage, earthworks, sewer, water, utilities, staging and approvals.
Managing project performance, including scope, fees, program, quality and risk.
Mentoring and developing engineers.
Supporting recruitment, resourcing and team growth.
Improving delivery systems, standards and project consistency.
Working with other discipline and sector leads to support integrated project delivery.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Minimum 15 Years Experience
Existing strong client relationships in market
Managed large projects
Experience in growing and managing a team
Experience working in the land development sector
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised qualification.
Chartered Professional Engineer status, or eligibility to obtain, would be highly regarded.
Registered Professional Engineer status, would be highly regarded.
