Project Coordinator
As a Project Coordinator, you'll administer contractual obligations of Civil projects through direct supervision and administrative controls to ensure compliance and project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Understanding of subdivision construction processes, sequencing, and interfaces.
Ability to read and interpret civil design drawings, specifications, and authority conditions.
Proven site supervision skills including inspections, hold points, and defect management.
Strong coordination and communication skills with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
Sound understanding of QA processes including ITPs, inspection records, and as-constructed documentation.
Practical problem-solving ability with a focus on constructability and risk mitigation.
Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple active sites or stages concurrently.
Competency in contract administration fundamentals, including variations, progress claims, and extensions of time.
Strong written and verbal communication for site reports, correspondence, and stakeholder updates.
Ability to work independently while escalating issues appropriately.
Experience
2–8 years’ experience in civil construction delivery or supervision within land development or subdivisions in Western Australia.
Demonstrated experience supervising civil works including:
Bulk earthworks
Roads and pavements
Stormwater drainage and WSUD
Sewer and water reticulation
Utility coordination and service connections
Qualification
Diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Construction, or equivalent experience
Construction White Card.
Valid Australian driver’s licence.
Sound knowledge of WA-specific standards and guidelines including:
MRWA specifications
Water Corporation manuals
Local government subdivision requirements

Strong safety mindset and attention to quality.
Ability to build trust and rapport with contractors and stakeholders.
Calm, practical, and solutions-focused under pressure.
Willingness to mentor junior staff and contribute to team capability growth.
